Pastor Lester Rowan:

Pastor Les and his wife, Kris, came to Wayside Community Church in September 2009. Les grew up in Pennsylvania and Kris grew up in Indiana. They lived in Ohio from 1983 until 2009. They have three married children. They also have three grandchildren.

Pastor Les graduated in 1978 from Hobe Sound Bible College located in Hobe Sound Florida. He received a Master of Arts degree from Ashland Theological Seminary located in Ashland Ohio, in 1991. His experience includes three years of university campus minsitry; fifteen years of pastoral ministry; and more than thirteen years in the field of chemical dependency treatment.

Kris graduated in 1980 from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana with a degree in secondary education with a specialization in Spanish. Her teaching experience includes four years as a kindergarten teacher and 16 years as a high school Spanish teacher.

Les and Kris are delighted to have the privilege of ministering to the community through the ministries of Wayside Community Church.
